YOUTH LIGHTHOUSE

Youth Lighthouse

To join us each week for Youth Lighthouse please register using the link below https://bit.ly/ylregistrationform

We will be meeting in-person in Room 114 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.  During a typical YL week we start off the night with worship, led by our own student worship team, one of our student leaders will share the thought of the day from their own devotions and share announcements for the week, we will do some fun icebreakers to help the teens have fun and connect with each other, then myself or one of the counselors will share a short message or we will watch a video if we are doing a video series, then we will split off into our small groups led by our counselors, Gr. 7-8, Gr. 9-10, and Gr. 11-12 boys and girls for more in-depth study and discussion. Then we will wrap up some refreshments and free time to hang out together. We will also plan on having some fun events at church and some outings as well.

Please contact Pastor Philip for more information at phil_yee@hotmail.com

Welcome

Come and be a part of Youth Lighthouse (YL), where youths are encouraged to live courageously and boldly for God.  We believe that God has called this generation to shine for Jesus Christ at school and at home.  Youth Lighthouse is a community of faith where high school students can grow in their relationship with God and experience genuine fellowship.  Our fellowship is open to high school students from grade 7 to grade 12.  We separate into six groups: Grade 7-8, Grade 9-10, Grade 11-12, boys and girls.  Everyone is welcome.

Mission

To equip our young people with a godly foundation for their present lives in preparation for life after high school.

Highschool Sunday School

Highschool Sunday School is for students from Grade 7 to Grade 12. Our class is grounded in Christ and lived out in community. It is a fun and safe place where we can study God’s Word, ask questions, and support one another.  We currently meets in-person in Room 114 and over Zoom on Sunday from 11:00am to 12:00pm.

Youth / Young Adult: About

YAM

Young Adult Ministry

YAM at ECBC is geared towards those in college and career.  Whether you're starting out in a new job or exploring a different area of study, we'd love to get to know you!

Generally speaking we do a mixture of large group and small group meetings.  Our large group events are a great way to get to know others and an easy place to invite friends - they take place on the first Friday of every month.  Small groups are a bit more intimate and "serious" if you will, they happen on various days throughout the week.

If you're interested in the college fellowship group, they meet at church in room 118 - starting at 8:00 pm.  You can view the tentative YAM college group schedule here.

If you're interested in the career small groups, they meet at various locations.

In either case, please email Chris (chrischu.ecbc@gmail.com) for more information.  You'll also probably want to check out our facebook group (which, frankly, is where most of our communication happens anyway).
